Dr. Joshua Epstein is a highly skilled, fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to delivering expert orthopedic care at North Florida Foot & Ankle Specialists. Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Epstein has deep roots in the North Florida community and is passionate about serving patients of all ages with state-of-the-art techniques in foot and ankle reconstruction and minimally invasive surgery.

Education and Training

Dr. Epstein began his academic journey at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Anthropology, graduating cum laude. He then pursued his passion for podiatric medicine at the esteemed College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in Iowa, earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM).

Following his formal education, Dr. Epstein completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. During his residency, he focused on complex foot and ankle reconstruction techniques. Determined to further specialize, Dr. Epstein went on to complete a 12-month fellowship in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. This advanced training provided him with the refined skills and expertise necessary to manage intricate foot and ankle conditions and perform minimally invasive procedures.
